Some postive feedback …

This year I have worked for the second time with Julie Bromfield at PublishMe and it has been a professional and pleasurable process.

In every case my emails are replied within twenty-four hours, usually on the same day. Last year when, with another editor, I worked on a book for publication Julie was the strength at the end of the telephone as we struggled to format the material.  In the end we decided that we did not have the expertise (nor the programme on our computer ) to do this successfully and so we were relieved to pass it on to PublishMe who for a cost did it for us.  The sum we paid saved our sanity.

This year I have again worked with PublishMe on the publication of my children’s book Nitescope. The book looks good and again it was such a painless process.  Discussions were straightforward and clear and the end result is a book I am proud to say is mine.  Last week a young customer said she liked the feel of the paper in the book as well as the story.  What an observant reader!

To work with PublishMe means working with specialized and proficient staff and the resultant product is a good looking and saleable item.

PublisheMe also take on board the option of selling through their website, and have contacts worldwide in the book trade.

I recommend them highly for the production of your next book.

Age doesn’t matter in the self publishing game

I felt I should write to you to express my appreciation for the excellent service your staff provided and assisted me for publishing my book A full life, A full ride, My journey 1919- 2008 and still going in 2009.

This is a book of my life covering almost 90 years and I had no idea how to go about publishing it but I was referred to your company and Julie Bromfield. Your staff were a great help to me and guided me through the requirements for publication.

Julie and your printing staff produced a very fine book that I am proud of and I have had many, many very complimentary comments and feedback from my readers of the quality and presentation.

The final out come of the book far exceed my expectations.

I must commend all your staff on their professional help.

Publishing a book was a new experience for me and we succeeded.

I have had a very interesting and exciting life and my family and grandchildren have always been asking me to write stories about some of my experiences so at last while I was still active I decided to put pen to paper.

The stories grew and grew until it was suggested I should publish them for other people to share my life.

Now with your help the whole exercise has come to a very satisfactory conclusion requiring several reprints.

Finally I have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone who wished to seek information on how to have a book published.

Some inspirational words

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

Creative writing had always been one of my strengths, but unfortunately, talent going nowhere.

A collection of memoirs and humour, history and prose formed a collection of writing that centred around my father Trevor Chambers, otherwise known as Cobber.

I had attended a publishme promotional day which qualified me for discounted benefits, if and when I published my book call me Cobber.  This was the beginning of fulfilling my dream of becoming an Author by self publishing.

Julie gave great advice and friendly, helpful support and worked with me to achieve tight deadlines for the printing process.  I was in full control of my creative project from beginning to end and the result was a very professional, finished product.

Publishme provided on-line help with a broad range of service providers to assist new Authors and downloadable free book information with step by step guidelines to help.

Pricing quotes were very fair and affordable and were e-mailed to me within one business day with varied price options.  The unit price for printing my book remained the same, regardless of how many I chose to print.  I received one free Proof Copy of call me Cobber and any alterations were done as requested.  The publishme website is a great tool that allows viewers to read a short review about me and my book.  I would certainly recommend publishme to anyone who is only just a dream away from publishing their own book. I know that this company can help you achieve this, because they helped me fulfil my dream come true.

Mike Cole Testimonial

Thursday, April 9th, 2009

Mike and Alex Cole have recently published their first book; “Last one out, turn off the light! A Migrant’s Tale”. A book which sets out the trials and tribulations of one family who decided to pick up their lives and transport themselves to New Zealand. It is a story of facing fear and doing it anyway and of having the courage and focus to meet all the challenges – of not seeing problems as a negative but always looking to find a way under, over, round or through them to make the dream a reality! The book covers the issues about getting Visa and then the emotional aspects of packing up their lives in the UK. It reflects on their first year in New Zealand through their letters “home” which now have some reflective comments and also includes some articles Mike has written for various publications – some funny, some sad and some technical. Finally, and perhaps uniquely, the book goes back to those family and friends left behind to see how the leaving felt to them!

A PublishMe members experience

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

I had my first book published by PublishMe. I worked closely with Client Manager Ocean Reeve for the production of my book. Ocean was very approachable, friendly and forever patient, which made dealing with him a pleasure. I rang several times asking questions about the process of publishing. In the end he know who I was and the title of my book without me having to say. A very personlised service. I am happy with the quality of my book and have sold more copies than I expected. I would definitely recommend PublishMe to anyone who is looking at publishing a book.

Great words from Alison Hazard

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

Greetings – my name is Alison Hazard – Zenith have done me proud in recently arranging and printing my first book of poetry “Heart Matters”. I am appreciative of the helpful suggestions to self publish from Ocean. Also for the overall attractiveness of my book, something for which I’d particularly asked help of Ocean Reeve. In particular I’m pleased with the sensitive and delightful ways in which Julie Bromfield arranged and presented the photographs (which I had taken) for each poem and also for the cover design back and front. I believe through Zenith Printers I have now published a wee book that could stand up with any quality book on any book shelf in the world. I recommend their work to anyone.
