| Name: Trevor CampbellBrief Biography: Born to Hugh and Edna Campbell in 1937 Trevor is the youngest of six children. From his parents he has inherited long established ancestral links with this beautiful land Aotearoa, Read more...New Zealand. Stemming from these links comes a deep feeling for the land and its natural flora. He has a strong desire to conserve and sustain the land for future generations.
Trevor with his wife Kay live in the Horowhenua District on a five acre block of land they have developed as a private conservation park for native flora and live a quiet life close to nature. They have two adult children who, with their families, are presently living within the greater Wellington and Kapiti Coast regions.
Trevor spends a large proportion of his time producing fine line pencil drawings, writing and together with Kay, developing and maintaining the hundreds of trees and plants on their small property.
Trevor spent some thirty years within the primary school education system and was seen as an innovative and progressive principal. With failing health, he resigned from the teaching profession in 1989. There followed two major health issues for which surgery was required. He continued to make changes to his life style while at the same time coming to terms with a psychic gift given to him at birth. This gift had been left to lie dormant within him until blossoming forth to become a dominant factor in his daily life.
Recent years have seen him using another gift, that of fine line drawing, to produce work which, in varied forms has travelled to many countries throughout the world. This artistic gift has most recently been combined with his psychic gift to produce a small, inspirational, pickup book titled “Threads of Understanding.” The story of developing both gifts is described in this his second book.

Mike had worked for 25+ years within the financial services market in the UK and had come to NZ to continue in that profession, whilst Alex had been a Travel Agency Manager and busy mother with the 3 children.
BritsNZ has evolved from being mainly financially focussed to a holistic, one stop shop offering to migrants from the UK.
Our 3 children were aged 13, 8 and 3 when we moved to NZ [and are now 16 [and driving!!!!], 11 & 6] so Mike & Alex have a good knowledge of the NZ education system right across all the differing schooling levels and so can give valuable insights into how the education system differs between the 2 countries.
As a family we have traveled extensively across the North Island but not yet much across the South Island but we are able to offer would be immigrants access to people in most parts of NZ so that you can have an opportunity [via e-mail] to build a support network even before you leave the UK.
We very much have an attitude [having been there ourselves] that there are no mad, bad or sad questions and it is much better to ask than not to do so as the saying goes -knowledge is power-!
'We are the champions my friends!'
Alex and Mike are extremely proud to announce that they have been crowned "Champion Migrants 2005/2006" by Outbound Publishing following voting by the public after watching the "Emigrate Challenge DVD" - to all who voted for us many, many thanks and we hope we can continue to help all of you realise your dreams of making a new life in NZ!!!!

| Name: Peter CookeBrief Biography: Peter Cooke is the author and publisher of Defending New Zealand: Ramparts on the Sea 1840s-1950s (Wellington, 2000), a twin-volume, encyclopaedic documentation of New Zealand’s attempts to defend itself from Read more...perceived threats from the sea. This is a monumental publication in every sense of the term, covering a century from the 1854 installation of Fort Britomart in response to the ‘French’ threat until the removal of World War II coastal defences. While the book is an unrivalled resource for heritage site managers, it encompasses not only material on installations but also details on the organisation of militia, coastal artillery, the home guard, as well as local air and naval defence. The publication is crammed with photographs and graphics.
Peter decided early on in his research that the only way to do justice to his topic was to control the whole process. The hundreds of illustrations and diagrams add to the depth of the work, and his referencing is sufficient to allow anyone with an interest in home defences to access the relevant material in National Archives. He and a small group, the Defence of New Zealand Study Group, also produce the journal/magazine Fort and Works that looks at New Zealand defence heritage and military history.
While Peter’s parents both had periods in the military, he is not exactly sure how he became so interested in military sites. Born in the UK, he was brought up in Tauranga and remembers visiting the military cemetery on the peninsula. This is one of the few substantial memorials to the New Zealand Wars in an urban area and provides a glimpse at a dramatic history of a place that many have a perception of as a raw and young port city. He did well in history at Otumoetai College and appreciated the effort and focus on history then. He suspects that the support for teaching New Zealand history has waned and is constantly surprised by the lack of general understanding of New Zealand history amongst the public.

| Name: Paul CooperBrief Biography: I was brought up in New Age teaching. My mother was a yogi and probably fifty years ahead of her time. (She was born 1913). I come from a family Read more...of 4 boys of which I am the eldest. Until I was 22 and doing my National Service in the Army I had never had a jab. Mum didn't believe in Doctors or immunisation. She was a natural healer and did what she was told to do from within. It was that type of environment that I was brought up in.
Mum belonged to two yoga / metaphysical schools, one in the States in California and one in Cape Town in South Africa. She passed on to me what she was learning at the schools. My education started early. I was meditating at the age of 3 years. In later years Mum would tell me that I would sometimes sit for 1 1/2 to 2 hours without moving. Try to get any 3 year old western kid today to do that and it would be impossible.
Throughout my childhood, teenage years and adult-hood I had a number of visions, I developed as a healing channel, would help out psychic groups when they got themselves in to trouble through incorrect practice. To me they were exciting and challenging times.
As well as inner studies and practice I became very interested in Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, Norman Vincent Peale and all of those positive thinking teachers of the late 19th and 20th centuries.
This venture is to take 'The Secret' one step further. Whilst the teaching in that book and DVD have helped many people get great results, there is more of the story yet to tell. That is what I aim to do. Read less... Website Link: None provided.
