| Name: Linda GeorgeBrief Biography: My astrological chart ‘says’ that I am a ‘teacher of spirituality’ and a renown psychic once told me that I am here to be a ‘communicator of consciousness’ – so Read more...that, really, is what I am about. My background? Preparing for this place. I have worked in communications, as a journalist and writer – but more importantly, I have been journeying, for 30 years now, on the spiritual path; learning all I could on metaphysics, psychology, spirituality, astrology, higher consciousness. And just as importantly, I have loved being a mother to my four children – all grown up now. My first book Heart Rules, written in 2005, was about conscious relationships. That book, and Touching the Infinite were both finalists in the Ashton Wylie, Mind/Body/Spirit awards in 2006/07.
Astrology is a powerful teacher, and the best tool I know of to open the doors of higher consciousness. I have learned much about life through my study of the ‘star language’. It is a thrill to have finally written a book on this often misunderstood subject – and I hope it will trigger a ‘knowingness’, in whoever reads it, and a desire to know even more. Astrology is a subject as vast and infinite as the universe itself. And we really do come to know ourselves, when we know our stars.
Enjoy the journey!

| Name: Lloyd GleesonBrief Biography: Born and raised in Thames. Many happy childhood memories 'going bush' and poking around old abandoned Goldmines and Stamper Batteries in the hills behind the town with my brother. Started Read more...work at Thames Hospital where I met my bride-to-be, and where the first of our 4 children was born. After a brief spell in Auckland at the Dept of Health's brand new (but highly
contraversial) St Lukes Computer Centre, we moved to New Plymouth in 1981.
I am now retired and able to indulge in my life-long interest in 'things mechanical' - namely old cars, and also revisiting a book I wrote some years ago. I had tried a few publishers but none were prepared to give it a punt, but that was only a minor issue compared with the immense sense of satisfaction I got from actually completing it!
It started out as a - you guessed it - story about finding an abandoned old racecar (a sort of 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' yarn, but for adults)... but the story was hijacked by one of the characters who had other ideas, and it turned all dark and gothic... and I found myself completely out of my comfort-zone.
Then a friend who read it said "I thoroughly enjoyed that! Couldn't put it down, in fact. Why don't you try self-publishing?" (All wannabe writers need friends like that!) Read less... Website Link: None provided.
