About this title.
It was ANZAC Day in Sydney...
A Day for Rememberance...
A Day for Survival...
April 25th, 2002, dawns as another beautiful day in Sydney, Australia. It is ANZAC Day, a day promoting pride in national identity, an identity won on the back of sacrifices made by those who fought long ago.
Or is it just a day to wallow in false patriotism and get drunk? At the very least, it's an inconvenient interruption for some, coming as it does in the middle of the working week. Do they really expect business to stop?
Big business never stops, and nothing should be allowed to get in its way...
<p />
A Day to Remember is a bonfire of Australian vanities set against a backdrop of corporate greed and malpractice, following the lives of three generations of one family on one day, Anzac Day.
