About this title.
‘Don’t talk about, just do it’ is an unspoken modus operandi in all that happens on ‘Pukerau’, the Munro family farm - Pukerau 4WD Ltd’s driver training,
trips, and tag alongs are just one of many examples of that commitment.
In A Farmer’s Affair, Duncan tracks Land Rover’s contribution to New Zealand in a typical ‘Nuts & Bolts and No. 8 Wire’ style so appropriate to our farming
scene. He sees humour in almost every situation and his love of animals comes through with many delightful cameos.
I am sure A Farmer’s Affair will appeal to all who love New Zealand, the land, the Land Rover and farming generally – but particularly it will appeal to all who enjoy a good old down-to-earth story.

About this Author.
I am a joint owner of ‘Pukerau – the farm’ (called that to differentiate with Pukerau – the township near Gore, Southland); and I am the Off-Road Trip Operator and Director of Pukerau 4WD Ltd. Pukerau 4WD Ltd has its own ‘protocol documentation’ on matters relating to Health and Safety called ‘The OSH Question’.
Trips and training are run on open rolling to steep pasture land; on pasture, clay tracks and metal road; in native bush and in forestry and in some wetlands. River driving is on an adjoining property.
