About this Author.

Tony has spent over 30 years creating and owning businesses in New Zealand and Australia, covering a wide range of industries including: Road transport, Builders Supplies, Earthmoving, Hire Equipment, Commercial Equipment manufacturing and sales, Food manufacturing, Hospitality, Fast Food and Electronics. He founded the Chick-A-Dee franchise and grew it to a national chain of 21 franchisees and was the inaugural Chairman of the New Zealand Franchise Association. He also founded Advantage Electronics which he sold in the late 80’s and which became the publicly listed Advantage Group now renamed Provenco Group Ltd. Tony has conducted retailing study trips to the USA, consulted to retail divisions of the Oil Industry and presented major seminars on Franchising. He has spent a number of years as a Franchise and Business Consultant and Coach and has also undertaken various Financial and Investment Advisory roles. Tony is a Principal Advisor with Alto Business Advisors Limited.
