About this Author.
Rebecca Timmis was born in Wellington, New Zealand before being carted off to Australia when she was six (no, not as a convict). She has always had an insatiable appetite for writing stories, and daydreams so often that sometimes her family have to yell at her to get her attention. She's studied animation at uni, runs a web design company, prefers cats over dogs and has even somehow managed to win a few awards for her writing. 'David and the Heart of Aurasius' is her first published novel and is to be the first in a series of five books.
