Novice sailors Rodney (64) and Adele (47) Jones set off in their 43' yacht, Aradonna, on a journey from New Zealand. Surprisingly this turns out to be a circumnavigation. They discover that the ocean is like a big road along which night follows day and mile follows nautical mile. Rodney revels in the open ocean whilst Adele counts the days and hours until arrival at their destination. This is an account of a voyage which confirms that age is no barrier to succeeding in new horizons.
