Most commonly referred to as “G.I” He is from a rural background in the Wanganui area where his love of the outdoors, in particular, hunting and fishing, were able to be relentlessly pursued. His creative ability extends to many forms of art, some of which can be seen amongst these pages. Born and raised in a small rural town he lived all of his adolescent years on the Parapara highway. Currently freelance painting in a mixture of mediums as well as designing and implementing traditional style tattoos. The children’s books he writes and illustrates gain inspiration from his wealth of lifelong experiences.
