Now as a New Zealand based counsellor of people and their pets, and a regular television personality, Barbara regularly communicates with a wide range of animals and their humans, revealing for those who need to know, what their animals are expressing. Barbara Schaer was born and raised in Switzerland, growing up in the mountains and countryside on a lifestyle block and vineyards, where she helped with animals and the outdoor work. This was a move that marked the beginning of Barbara's real love and passion for animals and of her special abilities with them. After completing an apprenticeship as a gardener, Barbara came to New Zealand as an exchange student and then immigrated there in 1981. Her interest in horticulture continued and in the early nineties an interest in homeopathy saw her begin studies in that area. In 1995 she started up her clinic as a homeopath and from there evolved her work as a healer and an animal communicator. Barbara's wish is for the human race to work towards saving the earth. She also looks forward to the day that we recognise the contributions that animals make to our lives. She hopes that one day we can live and work beside them in peace and harmony.
