About this title.

The story of the book is simple. Napier City Council sold their MED called Bay City Power (BCP) to Hawke’s Bay Power Board (HBPB) on 1 December 1991, after which for nearly five and a half years HBPB illegally charged the 5000 or so former BCP consumers more for their electricity than their original consumers. This cost the former BCP consumers about $2 million. A win in the High Court would afford these people and businesses a chance to claim a refund of their charges. My progress towards appealing against a temporary hold-up in the High Court is blocked by the nine Judges perverting the course of justice. The book explains how and maybe why. My ability to appeal the High Court decision which absolved HBPB of fault, was lost when I was late in appealing – caused (deliberately?) by HBPB’s legal team. The main part of the book describes how over four hearings the nine Judges broke or ignored the Rules of the Court of Appeal to prevent a restoration of my right to appeal and how the Police and an official of the Department of Justice covered up their actions. Finally, I now have an inarguable, unbeatable solution to the High Court case – given the right to appeal and an honest court to hear it!
