Tom Ughan is an emerging writer based in Poland where he earns his living as a teacher of English. 'Reflections on a Taoists Way' is his first published book. He had previously marked his literary appearance as a poet at the Australian Poetic Society website with 'A Traceless Walk' which is present in this volume. As a teenager he became fascinated with the Orient which considerably influenced his artistic and spiritual sensitivity. This fascination, particularly Taoism, continues today although he admits is not indigenously his own way of being and that the most intimate and genuine aspect of his individuality lies beyond any philosophy and religion. Tom also wrote another collection of poems under the title Reflections On Eternal Nonexistence.
