About this title.

Pre-school children are such lovable little people, with an extraordinary capacity to learn and are so keen to take on the world. They also have the amazing ability to charm you and make you crazy, at much the same time! A few years ago it became apparent that many parents were anxious about the same issues and were asking for the same kind of advice, so I started writing ‘information sheets’ for parents at the centre where I teach, - pertinent to their current pre-school drama. My aim was to give helpful, common sense information and advice that works, without getting too heavy about it. So now that this information has been compiled into a book. My hope is that the ideas and advice here may be helpful to more families than I would ever have personal contact with. Gather courage and confidence, be strong, and enjoy your lovely kids as you rear them to be happy, independent, thoughtful citizens of the future.

Nanette is an Early Childhood teacher. She has reared her own family and has had 40 years of experience with pre-school children and their families, - teaching, observing and forever learning! She finds pre- school children are very lovable little people with an extraordinary capacity to learn. They also have the amazing capacity to charm you and make you crazy at pretty much the same time. Because so many parents over the years have been requiring the same kind of advice over issues with their children, Nanette started writing quick, easy-read parent sheets, pertaining to particular dramas that parents were dealing with. These have now been compiled into a book to encourage more parents to gather courage and confidence, be strong, weather the challenges and enjoy their lovely kids.
