About this title.

I am a step-mother to three really awesome children and truly believe being a step-parent is a very privileged position to have. However at times it can be a very challenging role. The more I spoke to other step-mums the more I knew this book needed to be written. As a step-mum you are definitely ‘in it,’ in the middle, in the deep end, in the… I also hope that you are ‘in it’ for the long haul. I hope this book achieves its purpose and encourages step-mothers who are doing their upmost best for their stepchildren. The experiences I write about in this book are not all my own but have been shared with me by other step-mums. We play a very important part in our stepchildren’s lives and I think step-mothers need to be recognised and acknowledged for the great job that we do and also to be encouraged to keep doing out best. I hope this book helps to enrich the lives of other blended families in similar situations who need a little help in creating the phenomenal family life that every family, blended or not, is entitled to.Every family has the potential to be Great!
