Misty is free after escaping the tragedy that destroyed her family. A new threat looms however, as she searches for food on the mountain. This new exciting encounter is going to lead a new life. These are stories to be read in families. They are based around the most prominent feature in the landscape – the mountain. To conquer the mysterious people living on the mountain is the ambition of the people living in its shadow. Into this situation come people from other cultures, bringing their own problems with them, challenging the way of life and legends original people of the land. These stories are about the way people handle challenges and changes. The one permanent feature of the land is the mountain, the anchor to all that is important and to all that needs to be said.
