Verde is a world of love and war. It is where the old gods have retreated to and to fill this world they have been plundering the souls of Earth’s dying. Stealing them at the moment of death from throughout history and reincarnating them on Verde. Giving them a second chance at life, a chance to undo the mistakes of their past on a world where cave men and astronauts rub shoulders. But this Utopia is under threat. The Christ God is not content with driving the old gods from Earth and sends his armies of fallen soldiers to destroy Verde. Into this war are brought Trey and Maygan. Trey, a privileged officer from Earth’s bloody future is tormented by guilt. Mayghan is an Iron Age warrior sickened by a lifetime of war. Both seeing in the other the chance to have something that was denied them in their previous lives but between them comes Ivy, a woman willing to unleash an evil so great it will consume Verde in order that she might return to Earth. As Trey and Mayghan fight to save Verde they must also try to save each other.
